I moved pictures to my sd card (moto g 3rd gen) and now I cant find them!
It says the folder is empty when I go into my gallery. I also moved some apps there to clear up space and those are still on my phone home page where they were before...

Welcome to Android Central! What directory did you move the photos to? Use a file manager app (or connect the phone to your computer and use Windows Explorer) to make sure the photo files are still there. Then make sure there isn't a file called ".nomedia" in that directory, which instructs the system to ignore that directory when looking for photos to add to the Gallery database.

When you move an app to SD, your app shortcut will still remain on the homescreen. Remember that it's only a shortcut. The app will still also show up in the App Drawer (the list of all of your installed apps). Also keep in mind that moving an app to SD doesn't move the entire app--only a portion of it. A good amount of the app has to reside on Internal Storage to function properly.
