Email app won't work!

I just added my Yahoo account to the default email app on my Samsung Galaxy S4. The email is typed correctly and the password is correct, but whenever I try to send an email, it won't send! When I added my account to the Yahoo Mail app and tried to send an email from Yahoo Mail, it worked. However, the default email app isn't working at all!

Do you have 2 step authentication turned on for your Yahoo account?

You can also manually edit the Yahoo account's server settings in the Email app. Make sure they're correct: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN4075.html. If you're on POP3, it's highly advisable to change to IMAP.

No, I don't use 2 step authentication for my email. Maybe it has something to do with other authentication settings? (e.g. requiring authentication for the outgoing server). I'm not quite sure why.
