deleting e mail

Even after deleting them and emptying the trash bucket, the emails show up again in my in box. I just got a new Turbo 2

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Email app? Which email provider do you have? You're probably using their POP3 server--it's better to change to the IMAP server, which syncs folders with the email server (as opposed to POP3, which physically downloads the email to your phone).
