Why Does Google Store & my web browser keep opening up on their own?

So I have been having this issue for a while: my phone will instead take me to Google Play store and feature a random app. Or it my web browser will open to a "warning your android is infected with 4 viruses page."

I use Dr. Web for my security but it has not identified that I have any viruses or unwanted files.

So I went a head and disabled my google play services. Now I get a frequent notifications that an app was trying to access the google store but couldn't. It won't tell me which app it trying to do this though.

can anybody tell me if there is a way to identify the naughty app? Or is there a fix for this?

Phone is Samsung Galaxy note II 4Glte

Welcome to Android Central! Don't disable Google Play Services--your phone needs that. What you're seeing is the result of some adware that was planted in your phone, likely alongside some other app (probably a game). Uninstall your apps one by one until the problem goes way.
