    Hi everyone,

    Long story short. I had a situation where my phone locked me out after a problem with the finger print reader. It reset and now it is not accepting my Gmail log in. It says about using the original one on the device which I am. Any suggestions?

    I'm not sure what else can be done aside from a factory reset. What phone are you using?

    Note 5. I'm thinking it is one of those security measures they put in place with the more recent versions of Android.

    It may be. Factory reset through recovery may be the only way to recover it. You'll lose data stored on the device though, so hopefully you had a backup.

    You may want to contact Samsung just in case they have a way to access it before resorting to a reset.

    Can you log in to the Play Store on a pc with either accounts and Install an app, ie does your device show there?

    Same with www.google.com/android/devicemanager

    At least you will know which account is active, though I may be missing a trick.

    Just a thought Paul. Do you have the two steps verification enabled for that account? If so, disable it temporarily and see if it makes a difference.
