Why upload photo from email to instagram changes colors on my Galaxy?

I email a .jpg photo to myself, who uses a Samsung Galaxy, and my friend, who uses an iPhone. We both upload the same exact photo from the email to our Instagram accounts. When I view his Instagram version and mine on my Galaxy, they both look different. Mine is more contrasted and saturated. His is more true to color. They should look the same on my screen, right, if the source photo is the same? How do I fix this?

Hi, did he use a filter on his? also both phones will have a different screen. Samsung uses Amoled which tends to saturate the images.
