How to use s voice with apple headphones to read text messages/ calls

[AC Question]

My phone screen is broke and (the screen)will not turn on. However, the phone will turn on and will play music through the apple headphones using the apple headphones' pause/play button feature. Also, using that button I can hold it down and s voice tells me that I have missed calls/ texts. Is there a way to use s voice along with the headphones to get it to read out who called/ texted me and what the texts said? And maybe when I got these calls/messages?
