spoken language detection

Recently upgraded my phone, on lollipop my phone can't auto detect the spoken language anymore... This is really annoying...

Is there a setting somewhere, besides manually changing the language every time I speak in german or english?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Language & Input>Voice Input, and make sure it's set to Enhanced Google Services. Does that make a difference?
