Trick car into thinking it is receiving a bluetooth call when really streaming music from android?

Ok, this is a somewhat strange question.. My car has Bluetooth for calls, which works great. However, the AUX unit in it seems to be broken (this is what allows you to use Bluetooth for Music, USB and even Line In). Since it will likely need to be replaced outside warranty at a hefty cost, I was wondering if there is any way to get the phone to essentially trick the car into thinking it is receiving a call, and then stream music from either a specific app with this feature, or any app. I don't see how it should be a problem technically speaking, though I suppose it may limit to Mono sound or something. FM transmitters don't work well where I live..
