Not able to add contact under my existing gmail account.

When i am adding contact... A message is displayed .... your contact will not be backed up.. and 2 options appear down the message.. Keep local OR Add account... I have been saving contact under same gmail id earlier... I want to add contact under same gmail id.. pls help...

Gmail can save many thousands of contacts, but if I think if you run out of space in your Google account you will get that message. You have a minimum of 15GB on Google Drive. Check your account and see if it's filled up. If so. you'll have to delete or move some stuff or purchase more storage.

Thanku so much for the reply... but i have only 319 contacts and only 2.98 GB i.e. 19% of storage used of gmail account... so now kindly let me what to do now???
