Can I swap SIM cards between two phones without issue?

Hi there everyone!

I've got an S4 and an S3 mini on the Verizon Edge plan. I'd like to give the S4 to my daughter and begin using her S3. I'm wondering if I could do that by just factory resetting the two phones and then switching the SIM cards. Is that possible or does something need to happen by the carrier as well?

No issues swapping sims on Verizon (so long as it is the same sim size) . I have done so many times. Different sim size may require cutting or an adapter
