Play store crashes with search bar

[AC Question]

I just brought a new ZTE zmax2 from att running Android 5.0

For some reason when I type in the letter s or p or L the play store closes. No clue why.

I relogged into the Google account cleared the app and at services AND did a factory reset, nothing changed.

No clue what's going on.

You can do a Google search for the app name then open the link with Google play
