Multiple widgets in android 5.1.1

I have always used multiple widgets on my earlier phones like Huawei Honor 6 (android 4.2.2). I use this to see weather in different places, and different currencies at the same place and time.

But now, on my new OPPO R7plus I can't do this anymore. Any tips would be appreciated....

Is it the exact same widget app on both devices? Or was the Huawei one built in?
I have 5.1.1 on my note 5 and can do multiple widgets from the same app.

Yes it's the same widget (aCurrency Pro). I bought it for my HTC, and then installed it on my Huawei, and now on my OPPO R7 plus.

Is it a sizing issue? Nova can allow changing of the size a widget can take (to an extent). It is easier to make a widget bigger than it is to make it smaller.

No, it's not a sizing issue. On my HTC and Huawei I can have multiple widgets of all widgets I want to use that way. Like currencies, weather forecasts, clocks and so on.
