Why is my phone not turning on or usable at all?

I have an LG G4 that I got earlier in 2015. I've had it for about 5 or 6 months. Yesterday, after it had worked fine in the early morning, I tried pressing the back power button to light up the screen and the screen just went to a gray screen and then shut off. The little light in the corner stays blinking blue. I was on a class trip and just left it in my bag disassembled the whole day and night, and I tried to turn it on again this morning and the problem persists. It is completely unusable and also gets very hot in the top right corner when I attempt to turn it on. I am a busy college student and really need my phone!! Help!!

Almost sounds like a wakelock. Have you tried booting into recovery mode or safe mode? Try plugging it into the PC to see if it recognizes it. If it does recognize it and it's still not responding, you will probably have to flash the stock firmware back to your device.
