Why isn't my galaxy s4 working?

Hi AC forum! Today I was at work and I stopped for a couple of seconds to text somebody and it was fine.. fast forward 5 minutes and I go back to check on it and it's completely black. Won't turn on or off, nothing lights up, just a black screen. The thing is, when I pull the battery out and put it back in, the galaxy s4 logo comes up for 2 seconds and the phone shuts back off. Please tell me someone has a fix for this, I am really not in a position to pay for a new phone.

Yes and still nothing comes up, it just stays as a black screen.

YOur power button is stuck if it boots as soon as you insert the battery
