Do I need a new phone, or does just my battery need replacing?

A

AC Question

So, The past week or so, I have been trying to charge my phone, but it only got so high, and then it would spaz out and act like the charger was going in and out. That would drain my battery even more.
Well today, it died completely and I could not turn it back on. I plugged it up to the charger and it wouldn't even come on then, not even the charging battery icon. Still later, it decided to come on, and the battery percentage actually says it is at 99%, but as soon as I un-plugged it from the charger, it shut down completely again and I couldn't turn it on again.

Hi, I would recommend trying a new battery / charger - it might not be caused by these, but it's worth checking the cheaper option first instead of going out and buying a new phone. Good luck :)
