how do I replace weather app on home screen?

I noticed that I must have deleted my weather app on my home screen and I can't figure out how to put it back.

The weather information on your homescreen should be a widget, you just need to add it back. Which phone do you have? Try something like this. Long press on a blank spot in your screen, tap on widgets, search for the weather one and drag it to your homescreen.
