Disabling permissions from downloaded Apps

App downloads have come to have outrageous expectations in accessing private data from my phone. How can we disable what an App says it "needs access to" when it does not need such access.

Unfortunately I don't know of any such method.

Hello,

I have not used Android for quite some time, but believe you'll need ROOT privileges to perform this function.

Apps that use to perform this were updated, and required rooted phones to operate.
