Can't set up a gmail email address on my Tab4

[AC Question]

I have two gmail email addresses. I already have the secondary account set up on my Tab4. I am trying to set up the primary gmail address on my tab4. However, I get past the address and then the password and hit next and it tries to verify and then it keeps saying "Cannot Authenticate". I don't understand why this should be. I am pretty sure I did have the primary address set up at the beginning but then I deleted it. I didn't have any problems setting up the other gmail address. I have tried "manual setup" and it still does not work. Help!!
