AC Question

I have a droid turbo that I reset by entering the password in wrong ten times to wipe the phone. Now I can't setup the phone because I don't know the password to the previous Google account or the number it was setup with. Does anyone know how to get past this? Another reason why I hate androids...

Welcome to Android Central! That's an antitheft feature which is meant to prevent unauthorized factory resets (e.g., someone who steals a phone, then factory resets it in order to make it their own). If a phone is reset without first removing the Google account, you have to enter that same Google account's username and password in order to get to the Setup Wizard. It is expected that the user would remember his or her own Google credentials. Personally, I think this is an important Android feature.
