Lost apps on SD card after updating to 5.0.2

[AC Question]

This morning my phone prompted me to do a Samsung software update which it did successfully, however now I cannot access any apps on the SD card. When you click on them it says "app not installed". Does anyone know how I can recover them? Thanks in advance.

You will need to reinstall them but your app data should be OK. The update has put them back on internal storage

I had the same thing happen this morning. My phone and SD card are encrypted, not sure if that makes a difference. Anyhow, ApoMgr III seems to have automatically fixed it. I opened it to see if I could move the apps back to the SD card, and the icons changed from the grey SD/app missing icon, to the appropriate icon.

Maybe someone else can give it a try and verify it fixes them without re downloading the apps or moving them.
