I can't post a picture on Instagram.

When I select a photo to post on Instagram, a quick black screen says "Loading" but then it goes to a black, empty screen with the top menu bar half hidden above the screen? Worked fine for the last year and just quit days ago.
I tried uninstalling and then reinstalled the Instagram app. No change. Could it be the photo storage app, Galaxy?
Any help?

Hi, what happens if you open the app then go to upload a photo, do you get the above error? if you do what happens if you go into your media storage (gallery) on the phone and click share > instagram? does the same issue persist?

What Samsung phone do you have?

I have a Samsung Galaxy s4. I tried opening Instagram and then trying to post but got the same results.
I will have to research how to get the storage setting to try that.

Again, appreciate the ideas. Do you think my storage is full? I'm not getting any messages for that and I do have an SD card.

Reboot your phone. If that doesn't work, then just leave insta alone for a bit, it could be an update/updating

Also, you'll know if your memory is full, because when u get an app/pic/text etc. you'll get "Insufficient Space" or something
