Can't unlock my GS5

[AC Question]

I unlock my s5 using the fingerprint lock and all of a sudden, it's forcing me to use my alternate password. I don't think I ever made an alternative password. I've tried every possible password I know and I am still locked out without given a "forgot password" option. How can I unlock my phone? Thanks.

You had to have made an alternate password/pin. I don't think you would have been able to set up fingerprint unlock without doing so. If you can't remember you alternate password/pin, then you'll probably have to factory reset.
