Why does my Nexus 10 "search" function do nothing?

After an upgrade to 5.1.1 I can no longer search. It just returns to the same search I clicked on. Has anyone experienced this or have an idea what to do? Can I revert back or uninstall and reinstall 5.1.1? I have asked this in several forums but most are no longer active. Is anyone out there on this one?

First, try a Cache Partition wipe, good practice after a system upgrade.
