I no longer receive group messages from iPhone users

I Have ) switched from the iPhone to the edge plus and love the phone. However, I know longer receive group messages from my friend who all have imessage. I receive texts one on one fine, but group messages no longer go through and I do not receive them from iPhone users. Unfortunately not receiving messages can be a deal breaker for me for this phone. Does anyone know a solution so that I do not have to exchange the phone? I have done all the suggested deactivation of imessage and unregistraroon of my phone from apple and the issue only exists on group messages. Thanks.

Hello! This might be a little bit of a hassle, but if you are texting a certain group, try having them all delete the previous group message and then you initiate the group message. Starting a fresh thread may work.
