Photo's saved in gallery sometimes (randomly) become reversed, how do I re-reverse them?

I have a Samsung Tab2 10.1 and am having some difficulty with some of the photos I save. Completely at random, after I re-name a folder of photo's, the tablet will take a long time saving the new folder name, and when it's done ALL the photo's are in reverse order! Which totally blows the 'time-line' concept out of the water. Changing the name of the photo doesn't do anything, no matter what the photo stays where it is in reverse order; re-naming photo's doesn't cause them to become alphabetized (which doesn't make sense). This is a completely random problem, it doesn't do it with all the files I save, just every once in a while. When I re-scan the photo's and try it again, sometimes it works like it should while sometimes it'll re-do its reverse trick again. Very frustrating.
