I had a previous job which required me to install MS Outlook for work email. This in turn required me to add a password to unlock my phone from the lock screen. Now that I've switched jobs I no longer require or want the password on my lock screen. I've tried but can't figure out how to get rid of it. Someone please help!

Welcome to Android Central! If that doesn't work, the go to Settings>Security>Clear Credentials first. Then try what dumpedduce suggested.
