Just bought a Nexus 6 a week ago from Amazon, and the battery seems to be draining abnormally fast for a phone that is advertised to last 24 hours on a charge. OS is Lollipop 5.1.1 (Haven't flashed to Marshmallow yet).

The battery drains about 10% overnight (idle), and then during the day I get about 2-3 hours of SOT (light internet browsing, Facebook, messenger, stream music for 30-60 minutes) before I'm down to about 20%. I keep the display brightness low and exit Apps when I'm done with them.

I've turned off Adaptive brightness, Ambient display, Bluetooth, Location, and I only have Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Lyft and Uber installed as apps (on top of the pre-existing bundle that came with the phone).

Does anyone know if this seems like regular battery life for the Nexus? Or should I send it back to Amazon? Thank yoU!

Try a factory reset and charge it full. After a day or two of use and charging cycles, post a screen shot of the battery stats for us to see.
