HTC e8 camera option went off

[AC Question]

On my HTC one e8 main camera option went off and only selfie camera is working.
Also tried installing google camera, it says no camera found.
Someone please help me.

If it doesn't work in Safe Mode, then it's probably either a hardware problem or a firmware problem. Contact HTC support. Is the phone still under warranty?

No its out of warranty now.

Your options include a factory reset (which probably won't help), reinstalling the firmware (which you might be able to do using HTC Sync Manager--but if not, then you'd have to root the phone), or bringing the phone to a repair shop to see if the camera module needs to be replaced. The cost of replacement might be pretty high.
