LCD or glass replacement?

[AC Question]

I have a small crack on a side of the phone and I think some water (a couple of drops or a little humidity) might have entered the phone that way, as that side of the touch screen is not responding. I have been looking online to change the screen myself, but I am wondering if the problem might be something else. The spill happened a week ago and the phone seems dry. What do you guys think? No insurance and I can't really waste money on this. TIA!
