You are better off rebooting the phone once a week. Cache cleaning shouldn't be necessary IMHO.

I agree with tube, you don't need to worry too much about cache. You can take a look at this guide to get some basic ideas about cache.

Agreed. Leave caches alone. I posted about this earlier today here:

Using Android since v1.0 one gradually learns what works and what doesn't no matter how thick-headed one may be. Using Linux for 15 years helps, too. But someone posts a learning experience for me almost everyday. And thanks for that!

Google play services wasted 10% of my battery is that normal? My screen on time is 5hr and 22 min and my phone hasn't been charged for 15hr and all I notice is Google play services using 10% of my battery is that normal.

    You have a TMO Samsung?

I don't use Smart Manager. It is really clean master and that stuff is evil.

What phone do you have and why do you feel you need to clean anything? Are you experiencing some problems?

I wouldn't worry about it, I don't ever clear any files on my phone.

Are you experiencing some kind of issue?

Well are you running out of storage? I can't remember the size on that phone, my mom has it. Is it a 32 gb? I know it takes an SD card, so storage shouldn't be an issue.

I wouldn't worry about it. I can't find any miscellaneous filed on my phone right now after a quick glance, but I've had then on other phones.

It isn't even necessary to clean cached data.

Like Laura said, not necessary. I don't do any of that. If I have an update of the OS or am experiencing a problem, I wipe the cache partition.

Unlike early Android, all that clearing and cleaning not only isn't necessary, but it can slow things down a lot.
