My s4 keeps on restarting if the battery has gone down to 50%

Most of the time it wont restart itself so I have to manually do it. I also observed that it I still have to connect the wall charger to make it start even the battery still has 38% or more. And I also observed that if I remove the SIM card, none of these problems occur... Thanks to those who can help.. God bless..
