Accidentally dropped the Samsung S5 yesterday and black screen is appearing. Not responding to numerous attempts to restart phone and looks like display has gone.
As phone was due to be replaced for newer S6 how can I retrieve my data? Phone is locked and is recognized by Kies 3 but cannot unlock phone. Location is turned off and using find my samsung does not work.
Software like dr fone and others exist but seem pricey and not sure if they work.
Is it possible to unlock phone using MHL adapter and other methods to put in password using swipe pattern?
