My mom had an android, provider being Verizon, and had saved a bunch of voicemails, most importantly some from my Grandpa who is now deceased. She recently switched to sprint and was told they would transfer her old voicemails, but they did not transfer. She has the old phone, with SIM and data card, but we cannot access the voicemail but that phone is no longer in service. She has taken it into a Verizon store and was told "too bad so sad." Is there anything we can do???

Unfortunately if you didn't back them up before hand then they are most likely gone. I'm sorry they advised they would transfer but usually they do not since you're switching carriers.
