How do I get my data off my broken phone?

I have a HTC One M7 and it suddenly didn't turn on anymore. I tried to charge it with different chargers but it didn't work. Normally there is a little light that turns on when it's charging. It didn't no matter what I tried. I went to a phone store to get it fixed and they tried a lot of things but none of them worked. My phone is already about 2 or 3 years old though. The problem is that I didn't back it up regularly so now my data is lost. Is there any possibility to get all the data off it? I just really need all my pictures, notes, etc. I hope someone can help. Did you happen to have this information backed up anywhere else? I always suggest having backups either on the cloud or on another hard drive (like your PC) -- If you didn't have these backed up then unfortunately this information is gone.
