Hi, I have an AT&T samsung galaxy s3. I was using the Google Map app today and I noticed that part of the screen had lines through it (maybe the bottom 15% of the screen). I picked up the phone to look closer and the whole screen went line-y for a second and then went completely black. The app was still giving directions, so it was still working, but the screen was totally black.
Tried taking out the battery and when I boot up, the screen stays black but the sound, vibration, and LED light work. Just can't see anything.
Did some digging on the internet and here and tried the fix where you take out the battery and drain the charge and then let it sit. Tried it 4 times and no change. Then, I took the main circuit board all out and blew through it to try and clear any dust or debris, and still no change. Any help would be very much appreciated.
