NOTE 4 PROBLEM. no chargeing notification

sooooo i bought my girl a note 4 cause i loved mine and she wanted one but when we got home i plugged my phone to her charger and noticed it wasnt fast chargeing... plugged hers in... same. tried to debug by plugging it into the computer and noticed i cant connect via mtp or mtb whatever it is.. and i wasnt getting any kind of usb connect/fast charger connected notifications. are our phones retarded or am i missing something?

The fast charging could be damaged. I would take it back to the place of purchase for an exchange,if the supplied charger doesn't get the fast charging notification
