I just got a Samsung Gear S today. When I tried to pair it to my Galaxy Grand Prime, The Gear Manager gave me this message: "Check if your phone is compatible and if the Samsung Gear app needs to be updated, then try again."

I checked my phone's specs and it meets all the requirements. I read somewhere that the problem is that the Gear Manager updated and no longer supports the Gear S. If this is the case, can someone help me fix this or provide me a download of a version that supports the Gear S? I have tried unpairing and repairing, turning Bluetooth off and on, etc. But nothing works.

    Can someone help me?

    I have the same issue.
I had before the Grand Prime a Galaxy S3 and it was working fine, however the version of Gear Manager was 2.2...., and right now is 2.9
I can still connect to my S3, however when I try to do the same thing with the Grand Prime I get the same message.
If the new version of Gear Manager cannot connect to Gear S, is it possible to download a previous version of it?
    Thank you
