Why won't my digil and tablet load?

I have a 7 inch digil and tablet and the battery had died, I plugged it in and it's charging fine I went to turn it on and the white screen that says digiland came up but then a loading circle came up and is just stuck there. It just stays there and nothing else happens. I tried resetting it and it just does the same thing.
