    Hello Friends,
I just got a new Moto X play yesterday and to be frank its my first android phone so I am not much aware of android devices. I did read in many forums about users complaining about their Moto X play getting hot frequently. Well even though my phone does not get heated up so much, I can feel that it gets warm a bit when I've just attended a call of 2-3 minutes. I dont have any apps other than whatsapp and facebook installed. So is it normal for a new phone to get warm?

First 48-72 hours of having a new device, you can expect it to be a little warm. The phone is doing a lot of background processing. If it continues to get/stay warm after little to no useage, I'd first try a factory data reset. Still warm? Request to have that unit swapped out for another one.
