When I connected Moto g3 to desktop, the internal storage is showing "0".

Recently I upgraded my mobile to Android 6. Is it because of upgradation, that internal storage contents are not opening in desktop.
I would like to transfer some files from internal storage of moto g3 to desktop. Please help me as to how to trace the contents in
internal storage and transfer to other device.

First is your device unlocked when you plug it into you pc? Do you have connection type set to MTP? Do you have the latest drivers installed?
