On another thread someone was able to resolve a similar problem by unselecting the "vibrate when ringing" option. Unfortunately, this did not solve my problem. I do not have a microphone issue as I am able to use hands free to make a call out on my phone. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Have you tried wiping the partition cache in recovery to see if that fixes the issue?
