why is there a blinking white ight on the top right hand corner of my Motorola E ?

dropped my Motorola E 1st generation phone on the floor about half 1 today, (it was raining when I did this) it turned itself off and then turned back on the started rebooting itself so I left it alone. went back to it about an hour later and it wasn't on tried to turn it on it wouldn't do it. got home bout 10 tonight and plugged it in hoping it would then turn on. Pressed the power button and a white LED light appeared in the top right of the screen and the phone didn't turn on. not exactly sure what its doing :L can anyone help me ????

I would try to charge it but it is probably damaged.
