Won't play my videos 😟

I have a Samsung Grand Prime ,not even 90days I've had it . Although it is not letting me watch my videos,that are saved to my phone. When u try to watch them it just give me a screen and reads"can't play video". But I'm able to watch video on social meadia and things. Please help is so frustrating

Welcome to Android Central! Are these videos that were taken by your camera, or did you download them or copy them from somewhere? Are they on Internal Storage or a microSD card?

Update: I have seen some reports that a recent Google+ update is responsible. Try uninstalling Google+ (or its updates), and then reinstall it.
