Firefox links go to a completely different site occasionally.

I can be browsing, all is fine, then I click a link and the page will take ages to load and I will be sent to the original address but with "instantfwding" in front of the original address.

Now I keep getting asked to fill in captchas repeatedly on the same site with a suggestion I check for viruses.

I have a rooted android 4.4.2. I have run Kaspersky, avast, malware bytes, I did a factory reset, deleted browsing history, Un installed Firefox, etc, and nothing has changed.

What to do now?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have an account that Firefox is syncing with? If so, make sure you've completely cleared out your Firefox browsing history and cookies in that account (or turn off Firefox sync, and then clear the local browsing history and cookies again).
