Samsung Galaxy S4 camera videos won't play

The videos on my camera roll won't play, but videos on all my social media do play. When I click on videos on my camera roll, it goes black and says "Can't play this video" If I have to do any resetting or factory resetting, do I lose anything on my phone such as apps or anything at all?

Welcome to Android Central! I have seen some reports that a recent Google+ update is responsible. Try uninstalling Google+ (or its updates), and then reinstall it.
