texting problems with Samsung Galaxy Edge 6

When I text someone like my husband for example, his reply will show up "before or in front of" the text I just sent him. Why is it doing this? and how do I fix it?

Is the time set correctly on your phone? When you receive your husband's reply, what is the timestamp on it? Unfortunately, the text's timestamp on a received message is put there by the carrier, so if they're clock is off or if your clock is off, the phone might be 'thinking' that the reply was sent before your message based on timestamps.

If this is the case, the same should happen with any messaging app if you use them for SMS/MMS, like Google's Messenger or Hangouts.
