I have very sensitive information on my phone for business use which can lead to trouble if I ever lost it. I have secured my phone through passwords and encryption. But I am wondering if there is an app or whatever way to setup my phone so if it was ever plugged into anything but a charger ie a computer or external drive that it would automatically wipe all data or factory reset?

Welcome to Android Central! Assuming you have the phone set up to lock immediately when the screen turns off or when you press the power button, then anyone who swiped your phone wouldn't be able to access the data anyway, since the screen has to be unlocked in order for the computer to read anything.
