My "torch" button is gone

My "torch" or flash light button used to be at the top of the screen but disappeared when other functions were used more. How do I get that button back?

Depending on the phone, sometimes the flashlight is one of the icons in the Notification shade. If so, you just need to edit the Notifications and place the flashlight back to where you want it. Another location for the flashlight might be in your widgets. You might want to check there.
