Why is my Galaxy asking for a "key" when I'm trying to send an email?

AC Question

I forgot my password on Pinterest yesterday so I had to change it. For some reason, that I probably have caused, my Gmail password was also changed to that password AND if I try to send an email to anyone from my Galaxy, it is asking for a "key". So I can't send emails from my Galaxy but can from my laptop. It has to be something in the Galaxy but what? I've looked through all of the settings and there is a Key Management section in Security but I'm not familiar with what I'm seeing there. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Which Galaxy device do you have? Are you using the stock Email app, and are you trying to send these emails using your Gmail account?

Try removing your email account from the Email app, then adding it back again. Make sure you enter the new password during this process.
